Press Listing:
DR. CORDAY MAKES EMOTIONAL RETURN AND DR. PRATT CAUSES MORE PAIN WITH RESUSCITATION -- Chaos reigns as the ER is overloaded with patients after another hospital is shut down just as Dr. Corday (Alex Kingston) makes an emotional return -- and the aggressive Dr. Pratt (Mekhi Phifer) enrages his counterparts when he resuscitates a heart attack victim who had been pronounced dead. As the tight-lipped Corday sees the ER for the first time since Dr. Greene's death, she clashes with the tightly wound Dr. Weaver (Laura Innes). Meanwhile, Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) and a frisky Abby (Maura Tierney) hardly care to conceal their growing romantic attraction to each other; Dr. Gallant (Sharif Atkins) gets an eye-opening education when he pulls a shift in the psychiatric unit; Dr. Romano (Paul McCrane) faces a daunting new challenge. Goran Visnjic, Ming-Na and Sherry Stringfield also star.
From Zap2it:
"ER" also travels to England for its season premiere on Thursday, Sept. 26. But Elizabeth will have an emotional return to the Chicago on Oct. 3, where she'll clash with Kerry. Apparently, Lizzie will be distraught over Mark's death. Let's hope she can convince us that she loved Mark now that he's dead. We certainly didn't believe they were really in love while he was alive. The best part of the Oct. 3 episode is that Abby and Carter will be all over each other. Dr. Kovac is not amused by the randy duo. (Um, does he need a reminder that he declared Abby "not that special" ?) Look for Dr. Romano to injure his hand in this episode as well.
